The University of Malaya is recruiting enumerators in Johor.

The Social Wellbeing Research Centre (SWRC), University of Malaya are currently conducting a nationwide longitudinal study on ageingcalled “Malaysia Ageing and Retirement Survey (MARS)”. MARS is a mega project and part of the gateway to Global Ageing Data, together with its sister studies i.e. HRS, KLoSa, JSTAR, CHARLS, SHARE, etc.

Therefore, we are hiring enumerators to help us to collect data, all over Malaysia. The enumerators will start their work from their respective states once the training complete.

The training will be focusing on the etiquette of research in conducting interviews with older people, general interviewing using Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), physical health measurement and etc. Addresses have been provided by the Dept. of Statistics, Malaysia, and enumerators are expected to approach the household and interview all the eligible respondents.

Fully funded training and the venue to be confirmed collection is expected to commence from a week after the training.

Requirement:
1) Willing to take up this job as fulltime
2) Posses own transport and willing to travel
3) Passionate in engaging and communicating, esp with older persons
