Requirements
Malaysian,PR/Work permit holder
Candidates must possess at least Secondary/SPM/'O' Level
- Fresh graduate and SPM leavers are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent hands-on skills with an eye for details
- Ability to work independently.
- Pleasant personality with a focus on excellence in customer service.
- Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
- Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.
- Valid motorbike license, including motorbike road tax with required endorsements
- If necessary for the specific delivery route.
- Requires the ability to deliver for prolonged periods.
- Requires the ability to manually move, lift and carry delivery thermal bag.
- Requires the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach.
- Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.
- Must be able to work in and around kitchen cooking fumes and odors.
- Must comply with department dress code.
- Must be able to work in hot environments.
- Must be able to operate the delivery motorbike.
- Requires regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all food deliveries conform to strict delivery time guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the kitchen and company management.
- React to delivery instructions productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Appropriately operate delivery motorbike as required.
- Support the value of customers food orders.
- Ensure that all food delivery is completed in a timely manner to meet schedule demands.
- Comply with all traffic rules and regulations.
- Transport cook food and raw food products among district facilities.
- Maintain assigned delivery schedule.
- Maintain delivery motorbike in clean condition.
- Maintain proper hygiene, sanitary and safety practices as regulated by company requirements.
- Keep abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques.
- Maintain fuel level of the assigned motorbike before starting of food delivery.
- Follow traffic laws and drive in a safe manner to ensure the safety of the rider, others on the road, condition of motorbike and delivery food conditions.
- Immediately inform the Head Cook or Catering & Kitchen Supervisor of lateness or emergency delivery bike mechanical failure.
- Inform Catering & Kitchen Supervisor of routine maintenance and repair for company delivery motorbike.
- Responsible for loading and unloading food using delivery thermal bags.
- Responsible for accurate delivery of food and beverages as well as the condition of cooked food and raw food items.
- Adhere to all district health and safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Cook or Catering & Kitchen Supervisor and appropriate senior management that are consistent with the company requirements and instructions.
