As
an Ambassador, you will represent the PBS/MBS brand and cycling
advocate, have the opportunity to meet new people, learn more about PBS,
sell bikeshare day passes and memberships, all while sharing the fun
and excitement of bike sharing with locals and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the Public Bike Share brand at assigned events and locations which could include bikeshare stations, community events, and other special events in Melaka
- Sell passes and memberships to locals and visitors
- Collaborate with the PBS team to determine sales goals, and work to achieve those goals · Communication of success stories, key learnings, operations updates, and event recaps to marketing team
- Educate customers about Melaka Bike Share including the bike features, removal and return procedures for bikes, kiosk signup and pricing
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
- SPM leaver, diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable in a fast paced
- Outgoing and energetic
- Know how to ride a bike
- Have a smartphone and ability to add and utilize new applications
- Team-player
- Excellent communication skills (ability to speak a foreign language is a plus)
- Ability to take direction and to learn basic facts about the Melaka Bike Share system
- Self-starter, able to work effectively and reliably with minimal supervision
- Sales, marketing, or event experience is a plus
- Excitement and interest in bike sharing and cycling is a plus.
